Honda Civic LPG System Issues Persist Despite Service Attempts

On November 10, 2020, I purchased a brand-new Honda Civic Eco Elegance model from the Honda Karabulut dealership in Elazığ. After using the car for a while, I noticed a malfunction in the LPG system. Upon monitoring the issue, I found that the fuel gauge was inaccurate—showing an empty tank as full and vice versa. The vehicle also displayed incorrect mileage and range, indicating 50-60 km after only 2-3 km of travel. I took the car to Honda Karabulut service several times and sent video evidence as requested. Despite multiple attempts to diagnose and resolve the issue through trial and error, the problem persisted. Additional hidden defects also became apparent over time. Although the service and Honda's headquarters initially acknowledged the issues, they later denied the defects once the matter reached legal proceedings, making unfounded accusations against me. However, a court-appointed expert report confirmed several manufacturing defects and classified them as hidden faults. Both Honda Türkiye and the dealership failed to stand behind their product, damaging my trust in the brand. Even gas station attendants mentioned that LPG issues are a common problem with Honda vehicles. Many LPG-equipped models reportedly have similar issues. I encourage others to assert their legal rights without hesitation when facing such problems. I pursued my rights through legal channels, although automakers attempt to avoid liability by frequently changing vehicle designs and arguing that production of the defective model has ceased. This tactic was explicitly mentioned by Honda Türkiye's attorney in the appeal decision. The legal process continues with enforcement proceedings.
