Head & Shoulders Menthol Shampoo May Be Causing Hair Loss

I have been using Head & Shoulders Menthol 2-in-1 shampoo without any problems for many years. However, I have recently started experiencing serious issues with both the smell and the effectiveness of the 625 ml bottles labeled “Super Economical” and “Menthol Freshness” that I purchased. The shampoo no longer has the distinct menthol scent it used to have, and particularly over the past month, I have noticed a significant increase in my hair shedding during periods when I use this shampoo. When I switch to a different shampoo, I notice that the shedding decreases.

I believe the formulation may have been changed or that there could be an issue with a particular batch. Because of this negative experience, I no longer intend to choose this brand in the future.
