HalalBooking Claiming ‘Halal Service’ but Guest Forced to Leave Early
Hello,
With reservation number 5236002, through the HalalBooking app I made a payment of approximately $635 for a 5-day, 4-night stay at the Algora Halal Hotel.
However, due to misleading and inconsistent information, photos, and promotions about the hotel displayed in the app, I was forced to leave the hotel 2 days early (having stayed only 2 nights instead of the booked 4).
Therefore, I requested a refund for the 2 nights I did not stay, arriving at a total of approximately $254. My refund request was rejected by HalalBooking.
I am seeking remedy for the hardship I experienced and request a refund of the 2 nights. I have the payment receipt. I was especially disappointed since HalalBooking claims to offer services “in accordance with Islamic principles,” yet I was confronted with this kind of experience. I kindly ask that appropriate action be taken.
