Gucci Sandals Fell Apart After Second Wear - Unacceptable Quality

I purchased a pair of Gucci sandals, but after wearing them just twice, the leather on the sides and front began peeling and tearing. When I returned them, I was told it was user error and that the leather was delicate. However, this was never mentioned when selling the product. Even sandals sold at the market do not fall apart after the second wear.
I expect a refund or replacement for this defective product. Gucci should stand behind the quality of their items, especially at the high price point. This experience has been very disappointing and makes me question purchasing from the brand again. I hope they will address this issue promptly and professionally. Thank you.
