Google Messages Should Add a 'Delete All' Option for Spam SMS from Betting Sites

August 15, 2024 4:42 PM22

I'm deeply annoyed by the constant barrage of spam SMS messages I receive from betting sites. It's overwhelming, with no respite in sight. A majority of these messages originate from numbers starting with +37, +36, or +44 and are filled with phrases like "... Bet" and other nonsensical content. I've attempted to block and report these messages, but it feels like a never-ending struggle. I'm currently using Google's Messages app, and although it performs adequately in general, it lacks a crucial feature that I find to be quite essential. It would greatly benefit from the inclusion of a "select all" and "delete all" option for easily getting rid of unwanted SMS messages. Deleting these spam messages one by one can be a real hassle and drain your energy. Google, it would be great if you could add this feature to your Messages app. It would greatly reduce the amount of time and frustration experienced by users like myself. The current process is extremely inconvenient when dealing with such a large amount of spam. I hope they take care of this problem quickly so I can get back in charge of my inbox.
