Google Maps Says “Enter the Ramp” but Doesn’t Tell Me Which Ramp to Take

For a long time, I have been experiencing a serious navigation problem with Google Maps in Istanbul, Türkiye. While driving, the application often gives the instruction “enter the ramp.” However, at that point there are usually multiple ramps in front of me—sometimes two, sometimes even three different options.

One ramp may go up, another down, and another may continue straight ahead. Because the instruction is not specific, I have entered the wrong ramp several times and have narrowly avoided accidents.

At critical highway junctions, giving only the instruction “enter the ramp” is extremely misleading. As a driver, I cannot know which ramp Google Maps is referring to, and I am forced to make a last-second decision. This creates a dangerous and stressful driving situation.

Because of this ongoing confusion, I have even considered switching to another navigation application.

I request that this voice instruction be urgently revised and made clearer, for example by specifying which lane or which direction (up, down, right, or left) the driver should take, so that users are not directed to the wrong ramp.

I kindly ask Google Maps to correct this issue as soon as possible in order to prevent potential accidents and avoid misleading drivers who rely on your navigation system.
