I am absolutely livid with Google Maps! It's utterly useless for showing current road conditions and constantly tries to force me onto its preferred routes, even when those routes are clearly not actual roads. It marks nonexistent or dangerous paths as blue, acting like they're legitimate options. If I had just stuck to the routes I know are shorter, I would have saved at least an hour on my trip. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's a serious safety issue.
Recently, Google Maps directed me down an isolated and incredibly dangerous road. The route itself was unsafe, and the surrounding area made me feel completely vulnerable. It's obvious Google Maps isn't considering real-world safety or current road conditions when it calculates routes. This is unacceptable for a navigation app that millions rely on daily.
Google, you need to fix your navigation system immediately! Stop directing users onto non-existent or dangerous roads. Update your maps to reflect actual road conditions and prioritize user safety over forcing preferred routes. I demand that you address these critical flaws and prevent others from being put in risky situations because of your faulty navigation.
