GetContact Redirected My Phone Without Permission and Compromised My Privacy

I downloaded the GetContact app last year out of curiosity and only used it once. After that, I deleted it, thinking it was gone for good. However, I later discovered that my phone was secretly redirected to an unknown number—908505328282—without my consent. Shocked, I started researching online and found that many users had experienced similar unauthorized call forwarding caused by this app.

For months, my friends complained that whenever they called me, they heard strange tones or even a man’s voice instead of a regular ringtone. I assumed it was a phone glitch, but now I realize it was the result of GetContact’s hidden redirection settings. I managed to cancel the call forwarding through my Türk Telekom account, but I’m extremely disappointed that this redirection happened without any notice or approval from me. Türk Telekom also deserves scrutiny—how can third-party apps alter user call settings without explicit consent?

I demand that all my personal data be permanently deleted from the GetContact system. I no longer wish to have any connection with this app. If my request is not fulfilled immediately, I will pursue legal action. Apps like this must be held accountable for manipulating users and compromising their privacy without permission.
