On October 20, 2025, a charge of approximately $33 USD was made to my credit card without my permission or consent under the name Google Gearl Up Power. This was a one-time transaction, and I have never experienced a similar issue before. The last four digits of my card are 0942. I did not authorize any membership, subscription, or transaction related to this charge. The transaction details appear only in my online banking, and I was not provided with any receipt, slip, or reference number.
My card had previously been saved in the Google Play Store, and all of my past transactions were completed with my approval. However, this charge was made without my knowledge. I have not yet canceled my card and have not contacted my bank. I would also like to note that the charge was processed as a single payment, with no interest or additional fees applied.
I request that Google investigate this unauthorized transaction and that the $33 USD charged to my credit card be refunded to me.
