Google Gearup Global Makes Unauthorized Charge on Credit Card
On September 4, 2025, an unauthorized charge of approximately $34 USD was made to my Yapı Kredi credit card (last four digits: 3307) without my knowledge or consent, even though I have no membership or subscription related to this transaction. The transaction description only states “Google gearup global GB,” and it is unclear where this charge originated. My card was in my possession at the time, and no verification code (such as an SMS) was sent to me for this transaction.
I noticed the issue immediately, contacted my bank, and had my card canceled. However, Yapı Kredi customer service stated that there was nothing they could do regarding this matter. I demand that this unauthorized charge be refunded to me immediately. Otherwise, I will initiate legal proceedings.
