On August 27, 2025, an amount of $25 was withdrawn from my Yapı Kredi Bank card under the name Google Gear Up Global, without my knowledge or consent. The related app is not installed on my phone, and I do not have any active subscription. During the transaction, I did not receive any notification or approval message from either the bank or Google.
As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted Yapı Kredi customer service, filed an objection, and had my card blocked for further transactions. I also contacted Google and submitted a complaint, but so far I have not received any solution or response.
I am requesting that this unauthorized transaction be canceled and that the amount withdrawn be fully refunded to me.
For security reasons, I also request that the necessary investigations be conducted and that preventive measures be taken to ensure similar situations do not happen again.
