Garnier Vitamin C Cleanser Caused Persistent Facial Redness

I purchased Garnier Vitamin C Revitalizing Facial Cleansing Gel. I used the product for the first time on the night of December 1 or 2, and when I woke up in the morning, I noticed a distinct red line across my cheek accompanied by a burning sensation. Even though I regularly use sunscreen and take good care of my skin, this redness has not gone away for days.
To soothe the redness, I applied Bepanthen-type ointments that I already had at home, but there was no improvement. At this stage, I have not yet seen a doctor, but I believe my skin barrier has been damaged, and I have been advised to purchase cica-based repair creams from the pharmacy. These types of dermocosmetic products are quite expensive, and this situation is creating an additional financial burden for me. I am requesting that my grievance be addressed.
