Gamermarkt Wants Me to Recover an Account I Sold Years Ago—This Is Unfair
Hello, I sold an account on Gamermarkt around 2–3 years ago, and now out of nowhere, they’re asking me to recover that same account. But after so much time, I no longer remember most of the login credentials, and it's absurd to expect otherwise.
They’re even threatening to charge me the full value of the account if I can’t retrieve it, as if I’m somehow responsible for what happened years after the sale. How do I know if the buyer didn’t get the account banned or resell it on another platform? I fulfilled my end of the deal long ago.
I’ve spoken with my lawyer, and he confirmed that this kind of demand has no legal standing. Forcing me into this situation after years have passed is not only unreasonable but also creates unnecessary stress. Gamermarkt needs to stop holding sellers accountable for actions they have no control over long after a completed transaction.
