Gamermarkt Asked Me to Return an Account I Sold 3 Years Ago—I Don’t Have Access
Today, I received a message from Gamermarkt regarding an account I sold nearly 3 years ago, stating that the account now needs to be returned or recovered. This came completely out of the blue, and I’m shocked by the request.
It’s been so long that I no longer remember the email, username, or password associated with that account. I fully completed the sale years ago, and now I’m being contacted as if I’m still responsible for it. To make matters worse, no proper follow-up or detailed explanation has been provided.
I’m requesting a clear and formal update on the situation. Holding sellers accountable years after a sale—without proof, context, or access—is entirely unreasonable. This needs to be addressed with transparency and fairness.
