GamerMarkt Threatening Me And Accusing Me Of Something I Didn't Do
I sold a Valorant account on Gamermarkt approximately one year ago, and since then, I have not logged into it, I have not recovered it, and I no longer have any access to data or information saved about it. Today, completely out of the blue, I was contacted via WhatsApp by Gamermarkt and unfairly accused of having recovered this account. They are pressuring and threatening me with legal action if I do not “return” the account, which I do not have, or if I do not pay the full amount out of my own pocket. They have not provided any clear explanation or concrete proof of how they concluded that I supposedly recovered the account, and they simply insist on their accusation. I have not even replied yet because I am afraid that anything I say could be misunderstood or twisted, even though I am not responsible in any way for what the buyer did with the account after the sale. This situation is causing me serious stress and feels like harassment, as I am being held responsible for something that happened long after the sale, completely outside of my control. I expect Gamermarkt to immediately stop threatening and harassing me over WhatsApp, and either present clear, concrete proof of any alleged wrongdoing on my side or close this case against me. If this pressure and unfounded accusation continue, I will seriously consider taking legal action to protect myself and my rights. This situation is becoming unbearable and is causing me considerable stress, which, to be fair, I don't deserve. I did my part. Can anyone who has been in the same situation give me some feedback? Help me in any way? I would really appreciate it, as I don't know what to do to defend myself at the moment, and I don't even know what to expect them to do.
