I Paid 2800 V-Bucks for Fortnite Ford Mustang GTD But It’s Not Usable
I recently purchased the Ford Mustang GTD from the Fortnite Item Shop, paying 2,800 V-Bucks for a vehicle that is currently not usable in-game. I’ve attached a screenshot to prove the issue. Despite this, Epic Games has rejected my refund request, stating that a refund would be unfair to other players — which makes absolutely no sense when the product I paid for isn't even accessible.
I didn’t use the content, and I wouldn’t have made the purchase if I had known the item wasn’t functional. At the very least, I expected an automatic refund or clear communication about when the Ford Mustang GTD would become available for use. Instead, I feel ignored and disappointed as a paying player.
I love Fortnite and have supported the game for years, but it’s unacceptable to charge real money for broken or inaccessible content. I’m requesting a full refund of my 2,800 V-Bucks or, at the very least, an official timeline for when the vehicle will be functional.
Epic Games should not pass these technical issues onto loyal players. Please fix this and treat your player base fairly.
