I recently encountered some frustrating changes in the latest update of Fortnite, and I'm not alone. Here are the issues I've noticed:
Character Movement Glitches: Characters now awkwardly walk forward while holding weapons and suddenly pull out weapons in front of them.
Bus Jumping Stagnation: When jumping from the bus, characters now remain stationary in mid-air, a departure from the smoother transitions we're used to.
Ineffective Key Controls: The 'W' key for using the marking wheel is unresponsive, hindering smooth gameplay.
These issues, along with the dissatisfaction with the new attachment system, have significantly impacted my enjoyment of the game. It was much better when sniper rifles automatically had scopes without attachments. Now, obtaining a scope attachment feels redundant and disrupts the flow of gameplay.
The previous mechanics, as seen in older gameplay videos, were far more intuitive. For example, when I stopped firing, my character would immediately holster their weapon. However, in this update, there's a delay, which is frustrating.
I'm not criticizing the walking mechanics, but the sudden changes in crouching, weapon drawing, and shooting dynamics are simply not enjoyable. The character's abrupt halt in mid-air after jumping from the bus is particularly jarring and has made me lose interest in the game.
It's my hope that these issues will be addressed promptly so that I, and other players, can once again fully enjoy the Fortnite experience.
