Flynas Canceled My Flight but Never Refunded My €300 Ticket

My spouse and I purchased airline tickets for a June 1, 2025 flight from Istanbul to Madinah operated by Flynas through Booking.com.
Unfortunately, when we arrived at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport on June 1, 2025, we were informed that our flight had been canceled. This information came as a complete surprise, as we had not received any advance notice that the flight would not operate.
At the airport, the representatives informed us that the ticket amount of €300 would be refunded due to the cancellation. Based on this assurance, we expected the refund process to be completed within a reasonable period of time. However, despite the passage of considerable time, the promised refund has still not been paid to us.
Because we urgently needed to continue our travel plans, we had no choice but to purchase new tickets with Pegasus Airlines at our own expense. This resulted in additional financial costs, stress, and significant inconvenience that could have been avoided had Flynas fulfilled its obligations toward passengers affected by the cancellation.
What is most frustrating is that Flynas promised a refund at the airport, yet no refund has been received and no satisfactory explanation has been provided. As passengers, we should not be left to bear the financial consequences of an airline cancellation that was entirely beyond our control.
I respectfully request the immediate refund of the €300 ticket amount that was promised following the cancellation of our flight. In addition, I request that Flynas review this case and provide appropriate compensation for the disruption, inconvenience, and additional expenses we incurred after being forced to purchase replacement tickets with another airline.
I also request a written explanation regarding the status of the refund and the reason for the prolonged delay. I expect Flynas to take responsibility for this matter and resolve it without further delay.
