While trying to track an Aras Kargo shipment, I was directed to what appeared to be a legitimate tracking page. The site claimed that I needed to verify my phone number to proceed. Believing it was part of the delivery process, I entered my number. Shortly after, I received an SMS with a code, which I entered without realizing it was for a paid FitMe subscription.
The moment I entered the code, a charge was added to my bill. If I had not noticed immediately, the subscription would have continued each month without my knowledge, resulting in ongoing charges. This is a deceptive and predatory tactic designed to mislead users into paying for an unwanted service.
I demand the immediate cancellation of this unauthorized FitMe subscription, a full refund of the charges, and stronger measures from telecom providers to block such misleading pages. Consumers should be protected from trick sign-ups disguised as legitimate services like cargo tracking.
