I Face Unauthorized ₺229 FitMe Charge on My Mother’s Vodafone Bill After Cargo Check

My mother simply wanted to track her cargo online. She entered her tracking number on what appeared to be a shipping page, and shortly after, she received an SMS containing a FitMe confirmation code. Unaware of what it was, she entered the code—only to find that ₺229 had been added to her Vodafone bill for a FitMe subscription she never wanted or agreed to.

This is a deceptive and unacceptable way to sign people up for paid services. We have no interest in using FitMe, and we certainly do not want to pay for something we did not request. A company should not sell subscriptions by tricking people into entering codes under false pretenses.

I request the immediate cancellation of this unauthorized FitMe subscription, a full refund of the ₺229 charged, and stronger safeguards from Vodafone to ensure customers are not misled into activating unwanted services. Such practices must be stopped to protect consumers from predatory billing.
