Fissler Sold Me a Pressure Cooker but Offers No Reliable Support for Spare Parts

January 15, 2025 11:07 AM98

I bought a Fissler Vitaquick Bluepoint pressure cooker in February 2021. Four years later, I wanted to replace parts like the gasket and rubber components with original ones through an authorized service center. However, the websites fissler.com.tr or fissler.com/tr do not list any phone numbers in the contact section. The only contact information provided is the email address [email protected]. There’s no list of service centers. Instead, there are instructions like “buy spare parts and handle the maintenance yourself.” I don’t want to purchase parts from various online shopping sites where I can’t verify whether they’re genuine or counterfeit, especially for a pressure cooker that operates under high pressure. I also don’t want to risk installing them incorrectly by doing it myself. Although Fissler products are sold in Turkey, I couldn’t find a company that provides support for the products they sell! Besides the incomplete contact details on their website, the [email protected] email address does not respond to emails. When I searched online, I came across a company called Gallery Crystal, which appears to be the Fissler distributor in Turkey. However, there’s no mention of this company being a retail partner or authorized distributor on Fissler’s official European website. It seems as if they’ve declared themselves as the distributor. I also contacted [email protected], the official contact email for Fissler’s headquarters, to confirm this, but they didn’t respond either. On complaints listed on Xolvie, some responses included the phone number 444 7 558, but I tried calling it three times at different times, and no one answered. Finally, through a WhatsApp number provided by Gallery Crystal (+90 542 896 42 25), I found out there’s only one service center in Istanbul, located in Maltepe. However, they don’t accept credit cards and only work with cash payments. They also said spare parts could only be purchased in person from this location, as they don’t offer any online sales. So, does this mean all Fissler spare parts sold on various online marketplaces are counterfeit? I find it very disappointing that the brand seems to adopt a “sell it and forget it” approach, leaving customers to deal with the rest on their own. How can I verify if there’s a legitimate Fissler representative in Turkey who actually addresses complaints? How can I obtain original spare parts, and what’s the proper way to do this?
