Pingo App Wrongly Blocking Instagram on Samsung Phones

September 20, 2025 9:23 PM39

On our Samsung S23 FE and Samsung A15 devices, we use the Pingo app. Even though Instagram is not blocked, my child’s phone shows the warning: “Your family has blocked the Instagram app” and the app will not open.

At the same time, the FindMyKids app shows no restrictions and Instagram appears as unblocked. This issue has been ongoing for about 10 days and happens on both Wi-Fi and mobile data. The problem only occurs with Instagram; no other apps are affected.

We currently have an active subscription through Google Play. To try to fix the issue, I uninstalled and reinstalled both Pingo and Instagram, but the problem did not go away. So far, I have not been able to reach customer support.

I request that the Instagram block be removed and that proper technical support be provided.
