Findmykids Remote Control Features Do Not Work Reliably
After installing the Findmykids app on our Android device, I first paid an $8 membership fee and then made an additional annual payment of $9 to use the app-blocking feature. We specifically chose this app because we wanted to use features such as remote control, location tracking, and app blocking, but it has completely failed to meet our expectations.
My child can independently disable location tracking, audio monitoring, and similar features on the phone. The app also frequently becomes disabled, which means I cannot block or control anything. This is especially problematic when I am at the hospital or in situations where I need to remotely manage my child's phone. When the app becomes disabled, I cannot access or control my child's device, making the app's core remote-control and safety functions effectively unusable.
We have reported these problems repeatedly through the in-app support section. We usually receive a response one or two hours after contacting them, but despite following the same troubleshooting instructions they provide, the problems remain unresolved. We still cannot effectively control or manage the app on our child's phone.
Despite paying for both the membership and the annual app-blocking feature, I have been unable to use the service as intended. Therefore, I request a full refund of all the fees I have paid. If I do not receive a refund promptly, I would like to state that I will also escalate the matter to CİMER and the relevant authorities.
