Serious Hill Start Issues with 2023 Fiat Egea
Hello, I own a 2023 Fiat Egea with the Easy package, which includes a 1.6 Multijet2 engine with 130 horsepower and an automatic transmission. While the transmission's performance and smoothness are excellent, the vehicle's lack of hill start assist has become a significant issue in my daily use. I drive about 1000 km per week within the city and have serious problems, especially with uphill starts. The car experiences significant rollbacks when attempting to reverse up an incline or move forward on an uphill slope. This can even lead to accidents if you are not paying close attention. The car rolls backward when the brake pedal is released without immediately applying the gas. When you press the gas pedal, it suddenly lunges forward, out of control. I did some research and discovered that, while some Egea vehicles do not exhibit this rollback issue, many of us do. If anyone has any clear information on how to resolve this issue, I would be grateful.
