Here's what happened to my Fiat Egea Cross 1.6 Diesel automatic 130 hp car, which was made in 2020 and has been driven about 40,000 km. While I was driving downhill in a stop-and-go situation, my car suddenly showed a warning message: "Control your gear, engine, start and stop, and eco mode are out of order," and the malfunction indicator lights were on. Concerned, I pulled over to a safe place and called Fiat right away to get help on the road. When the tow truck got there, the Fiat team checked the car and told me there didn't seem to be any problems. After the car had cooled down, they told me to keep going. Once the temperature of the clutch showed that it was back to normal, I went on with my trip. But the engine trouble light wouldn't turn off, which made me nervous. I called roadside help again, and they talked to a mechanic who said that the problem might be caused by the gearbox getting too hot. If the warning light didn't go off, I was told to bring the car back so it could be checked out more. I went back to my office, and when I started the car in the evening, I noticed that the signal hadn't been on. Everything seemed fine, but I still had to drive about 110 km before I got to the car service. When I got to the approved service, I told them about the problem I had with the car earlier. You may already know that the car costs 1,000,000 TL, which is a lot of money, especially with the way the economy is right now. Like any other car owner, I love and care about my car and want it to last as long as possible. The workers at the car service looked at my car, and they called me later to tell me what they found. The mechanic was worried about the gearbox and thought the problem might be caused by clutch and grip burn. They told me about the plan, which included opening the gearbox system and costing an estimated 5,000 TL plus VAT. But they also told me that if Fiat thought it was my fault, I would have to pay for everything, including the removal of the engine, parts, and the mechanic's fees, which would add up to 44,000 TL. Now, here's my worry as someone who studied electrical electronics engineering at Istanbul Technical University and had some experience with mechanics in high school. The gearbox burning was caused by the car's own force and mechanical problems, so it's hard for me to take the blame for it. From my point of view, these problems don't seem to have anything to do with me. Did I do something wrong with my car that caused this to happen? So, I don't understand why I had to pay a million TL, which is a lot of money. I'm contacting you here directly and through your official channels to try to find an answer to this problem. I'd like to hear back from you as quick as possible.
