We sent a package to our customer from Canada as a DAP/DDU within the scope of the micro-export. Then we got a call from FedEx, they said that we didn't pay the shipping fee. I asked them to send the invoice to me. When I examined the invoice, we noticed that was the Canadian Customs Fee and VAT of the package sent to our customer. The package had been delivered to our customer without customs fee and VAT collection. This situation, which is under the responsibility of Fedex, stems from a personnel error and Fedex force us to pay this illegal invoice fee. 32.736,11 TL fee was committed to our current account by the FedEx Turkey team. All necessary documents are available. When we reminded Fedex of the incoterms 2020, we saw that they do not care and did not recognize the rules of Incoterms. In addition, FedEx has blocked our account because of this situation, we can not make our shipments, which affected our exports. FedEx has also forced us to get the Loa form from our customer, but our customer does not respond to us because the customer knows that she will pay customs fees and VAT. We could not reach our customer. FedEx does not know the export process in any way. I talked to FedEx Regional Manager and met with many regional managers and employees. They accept that we are right, but they say you will pay this fee. In this type of case, if the customer does not want to pay the Tax and VAT, the cargo company has to contact us about this situation and they have to inform us. However, FedEx didn't do this FedEx delivered the package without informing us. There is a Fedex mistake made completely irresponsible, and Fedex personnel, who tried to put pressure on us by email for days to get this fee, tried to unjustly collect the fee instead of solving the problem. NOTE/VERY IMPORTANT: We have used Fedex's English invoice and bill, that is, on the invoice we created from the Fedex system, customs, VAT and other expenses will be paid by the buyer, Fedex contradicts its own system and itself. They directed us to their lawyers to force this fee from us. We explained the situation to their lawyers and they were surprised. Please help us to fix this problem. FedEx Türkiye team and the Canada team messed up the parcel and they blame us their fault to deposit this fee.
