FedEx Delayed My Package After Customs Clearance
A package being shipped to me from the United States through FedEx was picked up by FedEx on June 11, 2026. By Monday around noon, the shipment had cleared customs without any issues. At that point, I expected the package to be transferred to Aras Kargo the same day for final delivery. Instead, I later learned that it was not handed over to Aras Kargo in Istanbul until much later. This unnecessary delay has caused me significant inconvenience.
For approximately the past year and a half, I have noticed the same recurring problem with my FedEx shipments in Turkey. Even after my packages clear customs, they are not transferred to Aras Kargo promptly, which results in avoidable delivery delays. I have contacted FedEx several times and filed customer service complaints, but each time I am simply told that the issue will be looked into. I have never received a clear explanation or a meaningful solution, and the same problem continues to occur.
I respectfully request that all of my shipments be transferred to Aras Kargo on the same day they clear customs, without unnecessary delays. I would also appreciate a clear explanation of why these repeated delays are occurring and ask FedEx to take the necessary steps to ensure that future shipments are handed over promptly so this issue does not continue to affect customers.
