I was unfairly charged a storage (demurrage) fee of $66 for my shipment imported from Alibaba via FedEx, with tracking number 475935746227.
This fee was paid to FedEx by the customs brokerage firm handling my import process, and I have a receipt documenting this payment. I can also provide the invoice if necessary and attach it to my complaint.
After I objected to the storage fee, FedEx reviewed the charge and confirmed via email that I had been overcharged by $66. I also have a copy of this email as supporting documentation.
Despite FedEx officially acknowledging the overcharge, the amount has not been refunded to me for approximately one and a half months.
During this time, I have corresponded with FedEx multiple times. Most recently, I was given a different email address and instructed to send all documents there. On March 4, I submitted all requested documents to that address; however, despite the time that has passed, I have received no response and no refund has been issued.
I do not accept being made to wait this long or being unable to reach a responsible contact, especially after the overcharge has already been acknowledged.
I demand that FedEx Turkey immediately refund the $66 they overcharged me without any further delay and provide a clear and transparent explanation for this delay.
