My Dog Got Sick After Eating Farmina Lamb Dog Food From Petlebi
On January 12, I purchased Farmina lamb dog food from Petlebi under order number 23918410. From the moment we started using this food, my dog developed serious digestive problems. Although we had been using the same brand for a long time, this specific batch caused symptoms such as weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, and mucus in the stool.
As soon as the symptoms appeared, we took our dog to the veterinarian without delay. Blood tests, stool tests, and other examinations were performed, but no underlying illness was detected. When we switched to a different diet based on the veterinarian’s recommendation, the symptoms noticeably improved. However, when we returned to this food, the same symptoms started again. For this reason, I believe the issue may be related to this specific food. During this process, I had to pay nearly $330 in veterinary expenses.
I shared the product’s lot information with both Petlebi and Farmina. The lot number is 25313p1795, the production date is 11/09/2025, and the expiration date is 05/09/2027. More than half of the product is still in my possession, and I am ready to send it for inspection if requested.
During my research, I saw that other users had also reported similar digestive problems related to the same brand of food on Şikayetvar. Therefore, I expect a transparent explanation from the company about whether this situation is only an individual sensitivity specific to my dog or whether there may be a broader issue with a certain batch.
I paid approximately $55 for this food. My purpose is not to make accusations, but to ensure that this situation is investigated in detail. I request that the quality control and analysis results for the relevant batch be shared with me in writing, that necessary action be taken if a problem is detected, that the amount I paid be refunded, that my veterinary expenses be evaluated, and that processes such as product replacement be handled transparently if necessary.
This matter should be handled with care because it concerns both my dog’s health and the possibility that other animals using the same product may also be affected. I request clear, detailed, and documentable information regarding this issue.
