For approximately 1.5 years, I regularly fed my 30 adult cats with N&D Lamb and N&D Ocean series cat foods. I purchased these products through Amazon, Evinemama.com, and Farmina’s official website. During this period, two of my cats developed urinary crystals, and the odor of feces and urine in the house became unbearable. I had never experienced such an issue with any other brand before.
In the most recent batch I purchased, my cats started vomiting, which prompted me to switch to Virbac cat food. After just three days of using the new food, the odor problem completely disappeared. For over a year, I had to constantly clean and disinfect eight automatic litter boxes due to the extreme smell and recurring health issues.
When I reached out to Farmina’s customer service, I was told that such odor issues were “normal” and that urinary crystals were not caused by the food. However, based on my long-term experience and the immediate improvement after switching brands, I am convinced the problem was due to N&D cat food.
All the food I purchased was within its expiry date and registered on Farmina’s Genius system, confirming authenticity.
I am requesting a refund, or at least partial compensation, for the ongoing health and quality issues caused by these products.
