Defective Fakir TVL 90 BS Fan Replacement Delayed for Weeks
I purchased a Fakir TVL 90 BS tower-type fan from the Fakir store in Mall of Istanbul on 26 May 2026 for ₺5,999. Although the product was delivered before the holiday, I was only able to put it into use after the holiday break, and during the very first use I noticed a very distinct creaking and annoying noise while the device was oscillating left and right. When I reported this issue to the Mall of Istanbul store, they did not accept any responsibility for the defective product and simply referred me to the authorized service. I handed the fan over to the authorized service on 6 June, and I was informed that the unit would be replaced and that I would be contacted within a week at the latest. My service record number is 103048944. Despite the passing weeks, I have not received any response. Today is 1 July and I still have not been contacted by either the service center or the store. When I call the 444 0 241 hotline, I am only told to wait 20 business days, and the process is dragged out without any concrete solution being offered. I have been left without a fan in the middle of summer; the fact that the product turned out to be defective, combined with Fakir’s failure to take ownership of the problem and the excessive delay regarding parts, has caused me significant inconvenience. I request that the replacement process for my defective fan be finalized immediately and that the indifferent and negligent attitude displayed by both the store and customer service be examined and resolved.
