I Got Charged by Europcar Dubai After Return with No Explanation or Support
Between April 24 and April 28, we rented a car from Europcar and picked it up without any issues at Sharjah Airport in Dubai. We also returned the car smoothly and on time, with no damages, no extra charges discussed, and all paperwork properly handled. Everything seemed perfectly normal at the time of drop-off.
However, nearly 20 days later, my credit card was mysteriously charged three separate times: ₺800, ₺300, and ₺200—each deducted on different days without any prior notice or explanation. I immediately called the Europcar customer service line with an 0850 prefix, only to be told I had to contact the Dubai branch directly for further clarification.
This is beyond frustrating because no one in Dubai answers the phone or provides any information. How can a company like Europcar charge my card days after service is completed and then offer no follow-up, no invoice, no breakdown, and no one to speak with? I demand a full explanation and the immediate return of these unauthorized charges. Europcar must take responsibility and fix this before I am forced to escalate the issue through formal complaint channels.
