I Face Unjust Charges from Europcar Italy — €100 Taken for Fake Parking and Charging Fees
I was mistreated by Europcar during my rental in Italy. I booked a 5-day car rental through Booking.com, and a €500 deposit was charged to my account. After returning the car without any damage and with more fuel than when I received it, I was unexpectedly billed €100 for nonexistent parking and vehicle charging services.
The rental itself cost €350, yet I was forced to pay an extra €100 without any valid reason or explanation. Despite contacting Europcar, I have not received a proper response or refund.
I strongly advise others not to rent from Europcar, as this company’s unjustified charges and lack of accountability cause serious customer frustration. I demand a refund of the €100 unfairly deducted from my deposit and an official explanation for this misleading charge.
