Fake Etsy Sales Website Collected My ID — Requesting Data Protection

August 2, 2025 12:07 AM17

On July 30, 2025, I was redirected to a website called [etsy sales] to register for e-commerce purposes. During the registration process, I was asked to provide my personal identification details, including front and back photos of my ID card and my phone number. At the time, I didn’t suspect anything unusual. However, later in the day, I discovered that many people had filed complaints about this website and that it was not a legitimate or trustworthy platform.

Because of this, I’m concerned that my personal information may have been obtained and misused by malicious individuals. Therefore, I am filing this report as a preventive and legal disclaimer to protect myself from any potential liability.

If any mobile line, company registration, bank account, credit application, subscription, or other transaction is made using my identity, I declare that these actions were not performed by me and that I am not responsible for them in any way.

I hereby reserve all my legal rights in the event that my personal or identification information is used without my consent, and I request that this statement be officially recorded.

Please take the necessary legal and security measures regarding this matter and inform me of any developments related to it.
