Etsy Charges Fees Despite No Sales & Blocks Account Exit

I have never made a single sale on Etsy, yet they continue to charge me fees—and they keep increasing the amount! Even worse, they automatically deactivate my listings and still demand payment.

When I tried to close my account, Etsy refused, saying I must first pay the outstanding balance. This platform presents itself as user-friendly, but in reality, it traps sellers with fees, even when they haven’t earned anything. It forces users into debt just for displaying products.

Etsy, stop charging sellers unfairly and allow account closures without extorting payments for listings that generated zero revenue! New sellers, beware—this platform is not as friendly as it claims!
