About a month ago, I paid ₺850 to open a company seller account on Etsy. After paying the required fee, we listed our products and saw the $0.20 listing fees reflected in the account. However, our shop was never activated, despite Etsy accepting our payment.
In the meantime, I received several messages from other users saying we needed to pay to activate the account, which raised suspicion. Still, we assumed Etsy would activate our store as promised—but it never happened. We contacted support multiple times, but no one responded with a proper solution.
To make matters worse, Etsy issued a billing statement and closed our account altogether—even though the store was never active in the first place. We now cannot even log in to our account, and there is no way to reach support. Emails sent to Etsy’s Turkey contact don’t go through, and Etsy’s main office seems to be ignoring the issue entirely.
