Eneba Game Key Region Locked When It Shouldn't Be
On 07.01.2026, I purchased a Steam key for God of War: Ragnarok from Eneba, where the product was clearly marked as GLOBAL and stated that it could be activated in Montenegro. However, when I tried to activate the key on Steam in Montenegro, it turned out to be region-locked and could not be used, despite the “GLOBAL” claim on the product page. I paid around 32€ via PayPal for this key and immediately contacted Eneba support when I discovered that it was region-locked. Support only told me to wait 3–5 business days, which I find absurd, considering I purchased a key that was advertised as globally activatable, and I cannot use it at all. I request that Eneba either provide me with a genuinely global Steam key for God of War: Ragnarok that works in Montenegro or issue a full refund of my 32€ to my PayPal account as soon as possible, since the product was misrepresented on the platform.
