Brand-New Emporio Armani Watch Rusts and Fails After Wearing Twice
On May 9, 2026, I purchased an Emporio Armani watch from the Saat & Saat store in ACity Outlet Mall for approximately $643. The watch was a wedding gift, and I only wore it twice—briefly during the wedding ceremony and later for a single evening. Despite this, an unsightly, rust-like discoloration has formed on the back of the watch.
The watch was defective from day one. After sitting in its box for about a month, it failed to work at all when we took it out on the wedding day. We immediately brought it back to the store, where staff told us the battery was dead and replaced it under warranty. However, after servicing it, they returned the watch with the back looking rusty and ruined. A watch given as a wedding gift that costs nearly a month's minimum wage shouldn't deteriorate like this after spending just a single day on my wrist.
I am deeply disappointed that the watch deteriorated so quickly and that the company failed to stand behind the product. For a watch meant to be worn on special occasions, such poor durability is completely unacceptable. I demand that my Emporio Armani watch be replaced with a brand-new, defect-free unit.
