I Regret Buying the Dyson V15—Motor Rubber Wore Out and Support Refused to Replace It

I used to love my Dyson V15 cordless vacuum. I was so impressed that I recommended it to everyone—my mom, my mother-in-law, and even my coworkers bought one on my suggestion. But now I feel completely let down by Dyson and their customer service.
The purple rubber rings located in the motor section have severely worn down. The deterioration is so obvious that you can clearly see gaps forming. When I searched online, I saw that many international users had similar issues and received motor replacements right away. So naturally, I contacted Dyson support here in Turkey. They were polite during the video call but ultimately told me they wouldn’t replace the worn parts.
I also pointed out a crack forming in the dustbin, and they brushed it off, saying it wasn’t affecting performance for now. They said we could “evaluate it later”—which basically means “you’re on your own when it fails.” So why does Dyson replace these same parts abroad but not in Turkey? Is the brand applying double standards based on region?
It’s extremely disappointing that such a globally respected brand would take this approach. If you’re considering buying a Dyson in Turkey, think twice. What you get in product support is far from what others around the world receive. Dyson, I expected better.
