I Am Requesting a Replacement for My Faulty Dyson Airwrap

It was decided to replace my product, and a new device was provided. Dyson customer service was very helpful and very clear in their explanations. I thank them all.

I purchased a Dyson Airwrap model 3HP-EU-BB6991A on July 4, 2025, from the Media Markt store in Kepez, Antalya. Since the very beginning, the thin curling barrel has not wrapped my hair properly, but at first I assumed the issue might be due to my own usage and started using the thick curling barrel instead. However, for approximately the past four months, the thick barrel has also failed to wrap my hair as it should, making it impossible for me to use the device efficiently. After recently researching the product in more detail, I realized that the Airwrap is supposed to automatically wrap hair correctly, and the performance I am experiencing is clearly not normal. In addition, within the past month, I noticed a burning smell coming from the device on three separate occasions while using it, and each time I immediately turned it off. This has caused serious safety concerns for me, to the point where I am afraid the device could malfunction or even explode while in use, and I no longer feel comfortable using it. Even though I use the product frequently, I do not believe it is normal to experience such performance and safety issues in such a short period of time. My device is still under warranty, and due to both the ongoing performance problems since day one and my safety concerns, I do not want the product repaired. I am requesting a full replacement of my Dyson Airwrap by Dyson instead of a repair.
