I purchased a Dyson V12 cordless vacuum in 2022 from Hepsiburada, and the Low Reach adapter (foldable furniture cleaning attachment) separated from the hinge about 5–6 months after purchase. At the time, I couldn’t report the issue, so I tried to temporarily fix it with adhesive. However, the hinge has now completely loosened, and the adapter no longer functions at all — it’s unusable.

I believe this kind of problem should not occur under normal use conditions. I’ve also seen many similar complaints about this issue on social media and user forums, and I know Dyson has offered free replacement parts to many customers as part of its customer satisfaction policy. I request that the same support be extended to me and that my defective adapter be replaced free of charge.

The issue originally started while the product was still under warranty, but I managed with temporary fixes until now. The warranty has since expired, but I still expect a brand like Dyson to ensure that its products maintain their basic functionality throughout their lifespan. I kindly request assistance under Dyson’s customer satisfaction policy.

The representative who called is a real smooth talker. What he said was, 'You used it too forcefully, the part broke because of you.' Apparently, no one else has complained about this issue. I thought Dyson was a corporate company that stands behind its products, but it turns out they are a company that blames the user and puts the burden on them, even for a part that almost all users have problems with. A complete disappointment.

It took 2 weeks to get a response, and the staff member who called was a real smooth talker. What he said was, 'You used it too forcefully, the part broke because of you.'
