Dyson Under-Furniture Adapter Cracked Without Any Apparent Reason

The gray body of the Dyson under-furniture adapter is a problem. It cracked without any reason, but Dyson refuses to take responsibility. It came with the vacuum cleaner when I bought it; I didn't pay extra for it separately. However, Dyson claims it's out of warranty. If Dyson didn't include it and just charged more for the vacuum cleaner, I wouldn't be forced to buy a new one. They put a weak part in the box themselves, then refuse to cover it under warranty and expect me to buy a replacement with my own money. Are we supposed to buy a new piece every six months? Either make it durable or don't include it at all; it's that simple. I'll be taking this issue to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
