Request For Filter Replacement For Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool


On November 20, 2023, I purchased a Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde from Media Markt. My spouse and I both have allergies, and we have been using this device in our bedroom to sleep more comfortably at night. However, for the past month, the device has started emitting a bad odor. Upon investigating, I discovered that the source of this odor is the outermost HEPA + Carbon filter. When I contacted Dyson customer service, I was informed that the filter needs to be replaced at my own expense. However, the app shows that the filter’s remaining life is at 71%. Additionally, this product was sold with a warranty, as stated in the app. Despite mentioning these points, I was still told that I would need to purchase a new filter. It is unacceptable that a warranted product’s part, which still has 71% of its lifespan remaining, should require a paid replacement. Therefore, I am requesting a free replacement of the filter under the warranty of my product. I kindly ask for this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
