I booked a consultation at Dr. Serkan Aygın’s hair transplant clinic to get more information before deciding on the procedure. However, on the day of my appointment, he tried to rush me into the procedure without allowing me to ask a single question. He forcefully explained that post-transplant care required a specific pill and gel, claiming he had been taking the pill for 24 years. I highly doubt this claim and suspect the clinic is simply trying to push expensive aftercare products.
When I consulted other doctors, they told me that long-term use of this pill is questionable and may even lead to heart issues. Yet, when I asked Dr. Aygın about these concerns, he rudely interrupted me, grumbled dismissively, and refused to engage in a proper conversation.
I mentioned that I had previously tried mesotherapy, but my hair fell out again shortly afterward. I also expressed my concern about spending a fortune on aftercare post-transplant. His response? A blatant lack of professionalism. He snapped at me, saying, "Don't tell me stories, are you getting the transplant or not? If you don't have money, don't do it, brother!" That was the final straw—I got up and walked out.
It’s obvious that his clinic profits heavily from foreign clients, which has inflated his arrogance to an unbearable level. Despite the clinic’s flashy appearance, the attitude and service are subpar and untrustworthy. Worse, he personally decides how many grafts to implant and suggests additional procedures as needed. The price is a fixed €2000, whether you get 10 grafts or 4000, making it clear that this is more about money than patient care.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this clinic to think twice. A doctor who dismisses concerns, pushes unnecessary treatments, and treats potential patients with disrespect is not someone I would trust with a procedure as significant as a hair transplant.
