Domestika Ignored Unauthorized Charge and Blamed Old Trial Period
Around November 4, 2024, I entered my credit card information into the Domestika app solely for trial purposes. After the trial period ended, I did not use the app or the website for over a year, and I did not purchase a Plus membership. Despite this, on December 6, 2025, my credit card was charged $136.15 under the description *“Domestika Inc” for a Plus membership, without my knowledge or consent.
After the trial period, my card had also been charged on December 4, 2024. Although I disputed that charge at the time, no refund was issued, and I canceled my subscription. I have not used my account for nearly a year. Despite this, being charged again and having it reflected as an automatic renewal without any notification is something that happened entirely without my awareness or approval.
On December 14, I filed a dispute with my bank, and the process is currently under review, with additional forms and details requested from me. On the same day, I also submitted a detailed explanation through Domestika’s help section. However, the only response I received stated that my trial period had ended and therefore a refund could not be issued, citing the previous year’s trial and completely ignoring this most recent unauthorized charge. There has been no active usage, no membership purchase approval, no regular login, and not even a notification message on my part.
I am requesting that Domestika fully refund the unauthorized charge of $136.15 taken from my credit card and that my account linked to gokcedonerk*@gmail.com** be permanently closed.
