I Report DHL Express Delay Causing ₺159,750 Loss Due To Undelivered Import Documents

On September 22, 2025, our import documents, which were supposed to be delivered to us via DHL Express, still have not been received despite being shipped with tracking number 8581990620. Because of this delay, our shipment has been stuck in customs for 3 days, forcing our company to pay storage fees and causing us significant financial losses. As of now, our damages amount to ₺159,750, and if the process is further delayed, the amount risks doubling.
Since September 22, we have repeatedly contacted DHL customer service by both phone and email. However, we have received conflicting information each time. One representative told us that the documents were “under customs processing,” while another said, “customs clearance is not required, you can pick them up from our warehouse.” Furthermore, none of the urgent service requests we submitted have been properly answered.
This is the first time we have faced such an operational failure with DHL. We demand immediate delivery of our documents, full compensation for the financial damages we have suffered, and accountability for the employees responsible for this negligence.
