After clearing customs, the package was forwarded to Balıkesir; however, during the delivery stage, the process was unnecessarily prolonged. The package I sent contains only food items such as desserts, chocolate, and candy. There are no sharp objects or household items of any kind.
The package is currently being held in Balıkesir, and a mail carrier left a telegram at my sibling’s address stating that we need to contact the Balıkesir customs brokerage office. I find it difficult to understand why there has been so much delay and redirection for a shipment with such simple contents.
