DHL Delays International Package Delivery Despite Simple Food Contents

I sent a package to my mother and sibling from abroad via DHL. The shipment date was December 12, 2025, and the tracking number is CR907438382DE. After clearing customs, the package was forwarded to Balıkesir; however, during the delivery stage, the process was unnecessarily prolonged. The package I sent contains only food items such as desserts, chocolate, and candy. There are no sharp objects or household items of any kind.

The package is currently being held in Balıkesir, and a mail carrier left a telegram at my sibling’s address stating that we need to contact the Balıkesir customs brokerage office. I find it difficult to understand why there has been so much delay and redirection for a shipment with such simple contents.

I urgently request that the package be delivered as soon as possible to Balıkesir, Kayabey Neighborhood, Yalçın Street, H**** Apartment No. 14, without creating any additional difficulties or unnecessary delays.
