Dell Vostro 3530 Arrived Dead With a Broken Charger

June 5 9:31 AM

On May 20, 2026, I ordered a Dell Vostro 3530 (Intel Core i5-1334U, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 15.6", Windows 11 Pro) laptop from the Sanaldestek Bilişim A.Ş. store through Trendyol. When the package arrived and I opened the box, I discovered that the charger was broken and the laptop would not power on at all. In other words, I received a defective product that was nonfunctional from the moment it was delivered.

Despite the intervening public holiday, I returned the laptop through Trendyol on June 1, 2026, well within the legal 14-day return period. However, I have encountered difficulties with the return because the original outer shipping box is no longer available. When I contacted the seller, Sanaldestek Bilişim, I was informed that the laptop had been sent to a Dell service center for inspection and that I would have to wait approximately one month for the outcome.

I do not believe it is reasonable to delay my refund under these circumstances. The product was defective upon arrival, and I do not accept a repair. I am exercising my right to reject the defective product and cancel the purchase. Meanwhile, I urgently need a working computer, yet I have been left without a laptop while my payment remains tied up.

I respectfully request that my return be approved immediately and that my refund be processed to my Trendyol account without waiting for the Dell service inspection. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I intend to pursue my legal rights through the appropriate consumer dispute resolution process.
