Deevana Patong Resort & Spa Stay Had Poor AC Service and Hygiene Issues

Deevana Patong Resort & Spa let me down with a number of problems. The AC hardly chilled the room, and even with the remote, the vents remained unadjusted. I had to repeatedly call maintenance, but language difficulties made it challenging to describe the issue. The little refrigerator had been left on defrost mode for more than a day, only corrected upon my complaint. Hygiene problems also included cockroaches and mosquitoes in the room. Twice one of my room keys stopped working, hence travels to reception were needed. To top it off, I had to carry my bags myself as I was told no bellboy was available after checkout. Not worth it given the cost.
