On 25 February 2026 I signed up for what was presented as a “free” trial on cvwizard.com, for which I was charged only US$0.99. At no point during sign‑up or afterwards did I see any clear information or receive any email stating that this was a recurring subscription or that it would renew automatically. On 12 March 2026, I was surprised to receive a notification that US$19.99 had been deducted from my Mpesa Global Pay account, Kenya, for a payment to CV Wizard, with transaction reference QrNtOD3v-1-2. I did not authorize any subsequent billing beyond the initial trial and was not informed in advance that this amount would be charged. After noticing this unexpected charge, I contacted CV Wizard through their support channels, but I have not received any response so far. I find it unacceptable that a “free” trial leads to recurring billing without clear consent or communication, and that my follow‑up request has been ignored. I request an immediate full refund of the US$19.99 charged on 12 March 2026 and the cancellation of any existing or future subscription related to my account so that no further amounts are deducted without my explicit approval.
